Asian 12mm Transparent Black Tubing

Asian 12mm Transparent Black Tubing is lightly saturated transparent black color tubing made in China. It is manufactured as hollow tube stock rather than solid rod, which makes it the right starting form when you need consistent internal diameter for functional components and clean, repeatable seals. This color is used when you want a deep black look that can still transmit light through thinner areas, giving finished work a sense of depth instead of a flat opaque read.
This tubing is used as a base material for building sections that need an open bore, such as sleeves, collars, spacers, and other tubular components in borosilicate lampworking. Because it starts as tubing, it is also a time-saver for any work where you would otherwise have to punch, drill, or open up solid stock. Work it like any color tube: warm in gradually, keep the heat even around the circumference, and use controlled rotation to maintain straightness while you join, flare, constrict, or seal it into assemblies.
