Item Name:

Description:

Asian 12mm Transparent Green Rod is a clear, luminous transparent green color rod designed for borosilicate lampworking. It is supplied as solid rod stock in a 12mm diameter, giving you a comfortable middle ground between small rod control and large rod efficiency. This color is chosen when you want a clean transparent green that stays bright and light-catching, making it a strong option for layered work, encasements, and medium-to-large builds where you want the color to read clearly without going muddy when properly annealed.

How it is used:

Use this rod for standard flameworking applications such as gathers, wraps, overlays, and encasement layers. The 12mm diameter is especially useful when you are building medium-to-large beads, doing layered color work, or laying down thicker transparent sections with fewer reloads. Bring the rod in slowly to avoid shocking, establish an even heat base, then apply with steady rotation to keep the glass centered and the wall thickness consistent so the transparency stays clean and even.
