Asian 13mm x 2.5mm Clear Tubing is clear borosilicate glass tubing supplied in case quantity for production lampworking and scientific-style fabrication. This tubing is made as straight, consistent-wall clear tube intended for clean seals, stable heat behavior, and predictable wall movement when you heat, stretch, or collapse it. The 13mm outside diameter paired with a 2.5mm wall is a solid choice when you want a slightly heavier feel than thinner-wall tube, giving you more material for shaping, sealing, and building durable hollow sections.
This clear boro tubing is worked by heating and rotating in a neutral flame to keep the tube round and the wall even. You can score and snap it to length, fire-polish the cut, then weld it to other tubing, rod, joints, or transitions depending on the build. In lampworking, this size is commonly used for forming small-to-medium hollow bodies, making consistent blown sections, and creating parts where you want dependable wall thickness for clean weld lines and controlled shaping. The thicker wall also gives you a little more forgiveness during seals and punty transfers because it holds heat and mass more steadily.
