Description:
Asian 22mm x 3.0mm Clear Tubing is clear borosilicate glass tubing made in China for lampworking and scientific style fabrication where you need stable, heavy wall clear. It is manufactured as straight, round hollow tube with a thicker wall that gives it stiffness in the flame, better resistance to ovaling, and a more forgiving heat base when you are making strong seals and durable transitions. This size is commonly chosen when you want a clear tube that can take heat and handling during assembly work, and when you want enough wall to shape, stretch, and rework without the tube collapsing too easily.
How it is used:
This tubing is typically cut to length, warmed evenly, then worked as standard borosilicate tubing for forming and joining.
