Asian 25mm Amber Profile Tubing is a transparent amber borosilicate color tubing that is formed as a profile scallop tube rather than a smooth round tube. It is made in China and supplied as straight lengths intended for flameworking work where you want the look of a shaped exterior without having to hand-form that profile yourself. The amber color reads as a warm honey tone in both thin and thicker sections, making it a strong choice for decorative accents, overlays, and sections that need visual warmth while still staying transparent.
This tubing is typically used by cutting a section to length, sealing one end, and then working it like standard color tubing for blowouts, sleeves, and shaped components. The scalloped profile is especially useful when you want built-in surface definition for grips, decorative bands, or architectural texture on vessels and functional components. It can be worked as-is for the exterior profile, or you can selectively heat and round it slightly to soften the scallops while still keeping a defined, faceted look.
