Asian 25mm Cream Tubing

This is Chinese-made borosilicate color tubing pulled to a 25mm outside diameter with a 4mm wall, supplied in 4 foot lengths. The cream color is a soft, warm light tone comparable to AR-LightTopaz, giving you an opaque, even-looking base that reads clean in thicker sections and stays consistent when properly worked and annealed.
This size of color tubing is commonly chosen when you want to build larger hollow forms while keeping wall thickness under control, such as big blown components, larger vessels, or wide-diameter sections that will be stretched, shaped, and sealed at the torch. In lampworking, you typically preheat the tube evenly, establish a straight heat band, and use controlled rotation to keep the wall uniform while you expand with gentle air pressure, shape with a paddle or graphite tools, and then attach blowtubes, handles, or end caps as needed. Cream tones like this are especially useful as a base for surface decoration, overlays, and line work because they provide strong contrast for darker transparents and many striking colors.
