Asian 25mm Jade White Tubing is an opalescent white borosilicate color glass tube manufactured in China and supplied as straight tubing in long sections for flameworking. The opalescent white appearance makes it a strong choice when you want a clean, bright base color that reads well under studio lighting and gives good contrast against transparent colors, fume work, and surface decoration. This size is commonly selected for larger hollow builds where you want substantial volume and a consistent white body without needing to sleeve multiple smaller tubes.
This tubing is used as hollow stock for lampworking. Cut the tube to the working length you need, then heat evenly with steady rotation to keep the tube round and the wall uniform. It can be sealed and blown into larger forms, joined to clear or color components, or used as a white body tube for sections that will later receive overlays, stringer linework, or fuming. When making joins, bring both surfaces up to an even working temperature and make a clean, supported weld so the tube stays centered and the wall does not thin unevenly during shaping.
