Asian 25mm x 1.5mm Clear Tubing is clear borosilicate tubing made with a 25mm outside diameter and a 1.5mm wall, giving you a large tube that still heats and moves efficiently in the flame. This size is a staple for scientific and artistic lampworking where you need clean, consistent clear for larger assemblies, blown sections, and structural tube work. The thinner wall is especially useful when you want faster heat penetration for blowing and shaping without having to soak the glass for long periods, while still keeping enough strength for handling and joining when your heat control is on point.
This tubing is commonly used on a bench torch for making larger diameter blown forms, straight tube sections, and custom components where clarity and consistent wall are critical. The 1.5mm wall makes it responsive for blowing bulbs and expanding sections, and it is also practical for pulling points, creating transitions, and joining to other tubing or fittings when building larger work. In production and repair settings, it is a go-to size when you want a substantial outside diameter but prefer a wall that will move quickly for shaping, sealing, and forming.
