Asian 32.0mm x 4.0mm Clear Tubing is clear borosilicate tubing produced in China with a 32.0mm outside diameter and a 4.0mm wall thickness. This is a heavy wall tube that gives you a lot of material to work with, making it a strong choice when you need added durability, deeper seals, and more thermal mass for stable heat control during fabrication. It is sold by the case, with an approximate piece count and case weight listed.
How it is used:
This clear heavy wall tubing is used in borosilicate lampworking and scientific glass fabrication for builds where strength, wall mass, and clean clear presentation matter. The thicker wall is commonly chosen for sections that will be heavily worked, stretched, or sealed into other components, and for pieces where you want extra resistance to handling and thermal shock compared to thin wall tubing. It is also a practical starting stock for larger diameter assemblies where you want the option to blow out, neck down, or machine and grind while still keeping substantial wall after shaping.
