Asian 38mm Cream Tubing is a cream colored borosilicate tubing made in China. It is produced as straight color tubing intended for lampworking and flameworking when you want a warm, creamy tone that sits between a pale amber and a soft tan. This tubing comes in 4 ft. lengths and is noted as being the same color as Ar-LightTopaz.
In lampworking, 38mm color tubing is typically used for larger hollow work where you want consistent color already established in the wall of the piece. A cream tone like this is commonly chosen when you want a softer, warmer palette than bright white or primary colors, and it pairs well with transparent ambers, topaz tones, and earth-tone overlays. This size is often used for sleeves, overlays, and main body sections in larger assemblies where you want the color to stay even across broad surface areas without having to build the entire form from rod.
