Asian 50mm White Tubing is a dense and vibrant white borosilicate color tube made in China. It is factory-drawn tubing designed for consistent outside diameter and an even, solid white that stays strong and opaque through thicker sections. It comes in 4 ft. lengths and is sold by the piece or by a 25-lb. case. The 25-lb. cases are pre-discounted by 40% and are not eligible for further discounts through specials and sales or Color Club membership.
How it is used:
This large-diameter white tubing is used for hollow lampworking when you need a true opaque white base that reads clean and bright. It is ideal for building large vessels and tube sections, and it is one of the most useful foundation colors for layering and contrast work. White is commonly used as an underlay to make transparent colors pop, as a backing behind thin color overlays to keep them from washing out, and as a high-contrast element next to black or saturated colors for crisp graphic patterning. In thicker hollow builds, a dense white like this helps maintain an even appearance without looking gray or translucent.
