Autumn Leaves Frit Blend is a curated mix of compatible 104 COE glass frit that combines both opaque and transparent particles to create a layered, autumnal palette. The blend is designed to read like sunlight through fall foliage, with tones of topaz, red, ivory, and dark red. It is packaged for bench use and sold in 2 oz jars. This blend reacts well with silver, making it a strong choice for artists who like to introduce metallic fuming or silver-rich colors into their surface work.
How it is used:
Use this frit blend as a surface application to add color, texture, and visual depth to beads, small sculptural lampwork, and other 104 COE soft-glass work. Roll a warm gather through the frit, or apply selectively for controlled placement, then melt in to the level of texture you want, from lightly tack-fused for sparkle and grit to fully encased for depth and a cleaner finish. Because it reacts well with silver, it is especially useful when you want additional movement and character in the color response from silver fume, silver leaf, or silver-reactive glasses.
