Boro Batch Green Pearl Frit Powder is a borosilicate color frit processed down to a powder grade by crushing and sizing colored boro glass into an ultra-fine particle. The color is a deep, dark green intended to live on the surface of your work and provide a strong visual balance next to brighter encased colors. This color is formulated to be very workable in the flame, but it is not recommended for encasement.
How it is used:
Use this powder frit when you want dense, even color coverage or soft transitions without the grain pattern you get from coarser frit. Apply it by warming the glass and lightly rolling in powder, dusting it onto a heated area and picking it up, or using it as a surface color layer before doing wrap-and-rake techniques. It performs best as an exterior application for beads, sculptural details, and blown components where you want a dark green base tone without burying it under clear.
