BB SB Cinna Strike - Bot is a borosilicate color batch formulated as a striking color in the warm cinnamon family. It is supplied as batch color intended for borosilicate work where the final look is developed through controlled heatwork, allowing the color to shift and mature as you work and reheat the glass. Striking colors like this are chosen when you want movement and depth rather than a flat opaque, making them a strong option for decorative linework, layered color, and sections that benefit from intentional flame chemistry and cycling.
How it is used:
In lampworking, this batch color is incorporated into your borosilicate color prep and then pulled into workable stock based on your shop process. Because it is a strike color, it is best used when you can manage your heat cycles on purpose, bringing the glass up to temperature, cooling slightly, and then gently reheating to develop the final tone. It is especially useful for accents, wraps, and overlays where you want the color to come alive after assembly work, and for components that will see multiple reheats before going to the kiln.
