It is supplied as solid lampworking rod stock intended to be melted in a torch flame and worked into finished components. Transparent Pink rod starts and finishes crystal clear with a beautiful pink tint, making it a strong choice when you want clean transparency with a soft, readable pink tone in borosilicate work.
How it is used:
Use this color as you would other transparent borosilicate rod in flameworking. Preheat the end gently, then bring it up to a smooth working temperature and apply it for wraps, dots, encasement layers, and blown sections where clarity matters. It is especially useful for overlays, windows, and encasing detail work when you want the underlying form to stay visible while adding a pink tint.
