Description:
Black Magic Frit Blend is a pre-mixed 104 COE glass frit blend packaged in a 2 oz jar. It combines tones of black, grey, and white to create a dark, high-contrast surface effect. This blend is used in lampworking when you want fast, repeatable color patterning without mixing frit yourself. It is especially effective over strong base colors like blood red, bright yellow, orange, or blue, and it can be paired with silver foil for added visual pop. It is also well suited for animal print style effects.
How it is used:
Warm your bead or component evenly, then roll or sprinkle the frit onto the hot surface. Melt the frit in gently to avoid boiling or trapping air, then continue shaping. For extra depth and durability, you can encase under clear once the frit is fully melted in. Use heavier application for bold mottling and lighter application for smoky shading and speckled detail.
