The Block Bracelet Image is a laser-etched bracelet image made on borosilicate dichroic glass. ABR etches these images with high powered lasers to produce clean, high-quality detail. The image is etched onto various shades of borosilicate dichroic glass and supplied as a flat strip that can be incorporated into lampworked jewelry and small sculptural builds. These strips can also be layered to create a 3-D visual effect, making them useful when you want repeatable imagery with the added flash and color-shift of dichroic.
How it is used:
Heat the strip gradually in a neutral flame to bring it up to temperature evenly. Use the strip as an accent panel in pendants, bracelets, or inlay work by tack-fusing it onto a compatible borosilicate base. For layered effects, stack multiple image strips with clear or dichroic layers, then fuse and shape as desired. Finish by fire-polishing edges and anneal on an appropriate borosilicate schedule.
