How it is used:
Bring your gather up to a workable heat and keep the surface evenly molten. Place the hot glass into the mold and roll smoothly while maintaining steady rotation to keep the piece centered and round. Reheat as needed to prevent chill marks and to keep the surface moving, then return to the mold to refine the sphere. Once the desired roundness is achieved, remove from the mold, fire-polish as needed, and anneal appropriately for your glass type.
