Description:
Blue Lagoon Frit Blend is a mixed-color frit assortment designed for adding layered surface color and visual movement to hot glass. It is a curated blend of transparent and opaque frit in multiple tones of blue, aquamarine, white, and turquoise. In lampworking, this type of frit blend is used when you want complex, water-like color variation without building the palette one color at a time. It is supplied in a 2 oz jar for clean storage and easy bench use.
How it is used:
Warm the base glass and lightly tack it into the frit, or roll the hot gather across a small pile of frit on a marver or frit tray. Melt the frit in smoothly with a neutral flame to avoid boiling and to keep the colors crisp. Use it for beads, pendants, small vessels, and blown components where you want a blended blue palette. It can be applied as an all-over coat, used in bands, or layered under clear for added depth.
