Boro Batch Beeswax Frit is a borosilicate color frit made from Boro Batch glass that is formulated to strike. Beeswax starts as a rich, bright transparent yellow when it is not struck, and it develops into a semi transparent yellow after striking. This is an easy color to work with and is a strong choice when you want clean yellow tones that can be pushed warmer through heatwork.

How it is used:

Use this frit to add color to borosilicate work by rolling a hot gather in frit, applying it to a tacky surface, or layering it under clear for depth. Work it in a neutral to slightly oxidizing flame to keep the base yellow clean, then strike by cycling heat and allowing brief cool downs until the semi transparent struck tone develops. It is useful for surface decoration, encasement work, and building warm yellow overlays without switching to full rod.
