Description:
The Carlisle CC++ is a centerfire bench torch tip built for high-output lampworking where stability, heat control, and repeatability matter. This configuration uses two inlet hose connections feeding a rack and pinion base style, which allows controlled positioning and adjustment during setup and use. The #5 Optimizer option premixes compressed air with the fuel gas and includes air valves that let you dial in flame temperature and character for different working ranges, from broader heat for larger gathers to a tighter, more forceful flame for faster surface work. The Optimizer feature can be switched off when you want a more traditional torch response.
How it is used:
Install the torch tip onto a compatible Carlisle CC++ bench torch base and connect the two inlet hoses according to your shop’s fuel and supply configuration. If using the Optimizer function, supply compressed air and use the built-in air valves to fine-tune the air and fuel mix until the flame matches the heat profile you need. Switch the Optimizer function off when you want to run without the compressed-air premix and work with a more conventional flame behavior. This torch tip is typically chosen when you need strong, controllable heat for production work, larger borosilicate assemblies, or any task where precise adjustment of flame temperature improves consistency.
