How it is used:
Copper Mesh (30tc) is used by bringing the glass surface to the correct working temperature, then pressing or rolling the hot glass against the mesh to transfer the grid pattern. In beadmaking, it is commonly used to create unique gridded designs on bead surfaces, either as an all-over texture or as a banded pattern. The mesh can also be shaped into other forms so the artist can create variations in the impression, such as curved textures or wrapped patterns. After texturing, the bead or component is reheated to soften sharp edges while preserving the pattern, then annealed as normal.
