At ABR Imagery, we etch our Bracelet Images with high powered lasers to ensure clean pictures of the highest possible quality. Images are etched onto various shades of Borosilicate Dichroic Glass and sold on 1/2 inch by 4 inch strips. Images can be layered to achieve 3-D effects. Custom sizes available upon request. How it is used:
This bracelet image strip is used in lampworking and flameworking when you want a consistent, repeatable graphic inside borosilicate work. The etched dichroic strip is typically cut into smaller sections, then encased in clear borosilicate to protect the image and bring up depth and contrast. It can be used as an inlay, a backing layer, or a focal insert in pendants, cabochons, and bracelet components. Layering multiple strips or stacking image pieces can create dimensional effects once encased. This use guidance is based on standard lampworking practice.
