Description:
Daisy #2 Blasting Stencils are single-use vinyl stencils designed for sandblasting and surface decoration. Each stencil sheet uses a water based adhesive that is removed by soaking in water, allowing the stencil to release cleanly. The stencils come with an instructional sheet, and the design is a stylized daisy pattern with multiple image sizes on the sheet.
How it is used:
These stencils are used to create sharp edged, repeatable designs on glass during sandblasting. You apply the stencil to clean, dry glass, press it down firmly to seal the edges, and then blast the exposed areas to frost or carve the surface. After blasting, you soak the piece in water so the adhesive releases and the stencil lifts off, leaving the daisy pattern behind. This is commonly used on finished lampworked pieces, blown glass, fused glass, and flat glass when you want consistent decorative imagery without freehand masking.
