The Devardi Lemon Yellow Stringer is a hand pulled soft glass stringer made from 104 COE glass. Each stringer is pulled to a consistent working thickness of approximately 2-3mm and supplied in lengths of 8-12 inches. This bright lemon yellow coloration provides a vibrant, cheerful tone that is versatile for both bold accents and subtle color layering. Approximately 64 stringers are included per pound, making this a reliable supply for consistent production work.
How it is used:
Stringers are used in lampworking and beadmaking to add fine lines, scrollwork, striping, and controlled accents of color. Lemon yellow is particularly useful for creating bright, sunny tones in floral work, decorative banding on beads, and dimensional detail on sculptural forms. Heat the tip of the stringer gradually in the outer flame to bring it to working temperature, then apply it to a hot base bead or component. The stringer can be melted flush into the surface for a smooth finish or left slightly raised for dimensional texture. Because it is 104 COE, it is intended for use with compatible soft glass to maintain proper thermal expansion matching.
