It is produced from semi-opaque extra light peach glass and packaged as frit so you can apply color quickly without pulling stringer or melting down rod. This is a go-to color when you want a soft, warm peach tone for gentle surface coverage, subtle shading, and pastel palettes. It is commonly used for rolling beads in frit for fast color application, building layered surfaces, and adding warm highlights that stay readable without overpowering other colors.
How it is used:
Preheat the frit if desired to reduce thermal shock. Heat your bead or component until the surface is tacky, then roll or dip it into the frit to pick up an even coating. Return the piece to the flame and melt the frit in slowly, using gentle heat to avoid trapping air and to keep the application smooth. You can leave the frit slightly raised for texture or fully melt it in for a clean surface, then continue shaping and finish by annealing on an appropriate 104 COE schedule.
