Devardi Frit - Transparent Extra Light Champagne Rose is a transparent soft glass frit intended for 104 COE lampworking and beadmaking. It is made from crushed transparent extra light champagne rose glass that has been screened into small, usable particles so it melts in smoothly and gives consistent, even color. This shade is especially useful when you want a very light warm pink tone that can be layered, blended, or used as a subtle surface color without overpowering other transparent colors.
How it is used:
Frit is used when you want quick color application, controlled bursts of color, or a light speckled effect. Heat the bead or gather until the surface is tacky, then roll or dip it into the frit, or sprinkle frit onto the hot glass. Melt the frit in gradually to smooth the surface and reduce trapped air, then continue shaping. This frit is commonly used for soft transparent overlays, gentle color transitions, and surface decoration before encasing or final shaping. Compatibility and annealing should follow standard 104 COE soft glass practice when used with other 104 COE colors.
