Devardi Rod - Transparent Light Green is a soft glass rod intended for 104 COE lampworking and beadmaking. It is made from compatible colored glass that has been drawn into consistent rods measuring 6-10mm thick and 8-12 inches in length. The transparent light green color is a bright, fresh green that allows light to pass through clearly, making it ideal for creating luminous effects, spring-inspired designs, and layered color work where you want a clean, readable green without the depth of darker shades.
How it is used:
Rod glass is used as the primary building material for creating beads, vessels, and sculptural forms. Warm the rod gradually in the outer flame to prevent thermal shock, then bring the working end to a molten state.
