Description:

The Diamond Saw Blade Dressing Block is a rigid abrasive dressing stone used to clean and recondition diamond saw blades. As you cut glass, the blade can glaze over as fine glass slurry and swarf pack into the metal bond, which slows cutting and increases heat. Dressing the blade wears away a small amount of the bond and clears the loaded surface so fresh diamond grit is exposed again, restoring a faster, smoother cut and helping reduce chipping.

How it is used:

  • Run the saw as normal with coolant flowing.
  • Make several light, controlled passes into the dressing block, using gentle feed pressure.
  • Test-cut a scrap piece of glass and repeat dressing if the blade still feels slow or glazed.
  • Dress the blade whenever cutting speed drops, heat increases, or edge quality gets worse.
