Description:
EZ-Bead Release is a non-toxic bead release supplied as a ready-to-use wet slurry in a 16 oz container. It is formulated to create a reliable, heat-resistant barrier between your mandrel and molten glass so beads, small sculpture, and hollow work can be removed cleanly after annealing. This release is designed for lampworking applications where you want a smooth coating that holds up through repeated heating cycles and normal shaping and tooling at the torch.
How it is used:
Clean your mandrels, then dip them into the bead release to coat the working area evenly. Allow the coating to air dry or flame dry, then introduce the mandrel to the flame gradually to avoid shocking the coating. Build your bead, sculptural form, or hollow piece on the prepared mandrel, anneal as normal, then remove the finished work once cooled and clean out the bead holes.
