Description:
EZ-Bead Release is a non-toxic bead release supplied as a ready-to-use wet slurry in an 8 oz container. It is formulated to create a dependable, heat-resistant barrier between your mandrel and molten glass so beads, small sculpture, and hollow work can be removed cleanly after annealing. This release is made for lampworking situations where you need a consistent coating that can be air dried or flame dried and still hold up through normal heating cycles at the torch.
How it is used:
Clean your mandrels, then dip them into the bead release to coat the working area evenly. Let the coating air dry or flame dry, then warm the mandrel gradually in the flame to set the coating before bringing it up to working temperature. Form your bead, sculptural element, or hollow piece on the prepared mandrel, anneal as normal, then remove the finished work after cooling and clean out the bead holes.
