Fairy Dust is high temperature flakes that refract like dichroic glass. These jars of flakes hold actual material weight is 1.5 grams of fairy dust that has a particle size between 100-2000µ. Afghan Kush refracts shimmering greens and purples. These flakes are compatible with 104 COE, 96 COE, and 33 COE glass.
How it is used:
Use Fairy Dust flakes as a surface effect in flameworking and kiln work when you want a shimmering, refractive look. Apply a small amount to hot glass so the flakes tack down, then encase or fire-polish as needed to lock the effect in place and protect the surface. This is especially useful for adding sparkle accents, color-shift highlights, and layered depth without switching base color.
