This is a single-use vinyl stencil sheet designed for sandblasting or paint masking on glass. It uses a water based adhesive so removal is simple by soaking the glass in water until the stencil releases. The stencil is intended to produce a sharp edged flame pattern with clean lines. Each stencil sheet includes an instructional sheet, and there is a three sheet minimum purchase requirement.
Use this stencil when you want consistent flame graphics on glass with crisp edges. Clean and dry the glass, apply the stencil smoothly with firm pressure so the edges seal well, then sandblast or apply paint to the exposed areas. After blasting or painting, soak the piece in water to loosen the adhesive and remove the stencil, then rinse and dry. This is commonly used for adding repeatable decorative imagery to finished lampworked pieces, blown glass, or flat glass panels.
