Description:
ABR Fire-on Honey Comb Decal Sheet is sold by the sheet and is made for kiln-firing a honeycomb pattern onto glass and other kiln-compatible surfaces. Each decal sheet contains a various assortment of honeycomb images made with real gold. The images range from 1/2 inch to 1 inch, allowing you to choose a scale that fits beads, pendants, small panels, or larger decorative work. When properly applied and fired, the gold design bonds to the surface and becomes a permanent metallic decoration.
How it is used:
- Cut out the desired honeycomb image, leaving a small margin around the design
- Apply the decal to a clean surface using water so the decal film can slide off the backing and into position
- Smooth the decal down to remove trapped water and air so the design lays flat
- Allow the decal to dry completely before firing
- Fire the piece in a kiln using an appropriate fire-on decal schedule so the gold decoration fuses permanently to the surface
