Description:
The Horizontal Beveler/Grinder Plate 24 is a large replacement plate designed for use with Covington horizontal beveler and grinder units. This flat lap style plate is built to mount to the machine’s drive shaft and provide a stable, true surface for cold-working operations. In lampworking and other glass arts, cold-working is used after annealing to refine edges, true up mating surfaces, and improve the finish on cut or ground glass. With the proper abrasive discs and polishing compounds, this plate supports grinding, beveling, and polishing tasks on larger glass pieces where added surface area improves control and consistency. How it is used:
- Mount the plate onto the compatible horizontal beveler or grinder so it seats securely on the drive shaft
