The Kali Bracelet Image is a laser-etched image strip made by ABR Imagery. It is constructed from borosilicate dichroic glass that has been etched with high powered lasers to produce a clean, high-contrast image. The image is supplied as a 1/2 inch by 4 inch strip, sized for bracelet and jewelry components and for cutting into smaller design elements. This type of etched dichroic image is used in lampworking when you want a repeatable graphic element that can be encased, backed, or layered into a finished piece. Images can be layered to build depth and create a three dimensional visual effect in the finished work. Custom sizes are available upon request.
How it is used:
- Cut the strip into smaller sections and fire polish the edges before incorporating it into a pendant, bracelet component, or small fused element.
- Layer one image over another to build depth, then cap with clear to create a three dimensional look.
- Use as a decorative inlay by backing the strip with compatible clear and then encasing to protect the etched surface.
- Incorporate into coldworking and jewelry assembly workflows by cutting the strip into cabochon sized pieces for settings.
