Description:

Moretti Medium Topaz frit is a transparent soft glass frit made by crushing and sizing compatible Effetre glass into a medium-grade particle. This color is a bold amber-yellow that is darker than both Very Pale Topaz and Light Topaz, giving you a richer, more saturated topaz tone for deeper color application. It is used in lampworking when you want a stronger transparent topaz presence without pulling stringer, and it is especially useful for creating warm, glowing depth when layered or encased.

How it is used:

• Roll a warm bead through frit in a frit tray, then melt in smoothly for an even transparent amber-yellow layer.
• Use as a medium-to-heavy application for bold topaz color, or build multiple layers for even deeper saturation.
• Apply in bands or spot placements to create transparent patterning with more color intensity than lighter topaz shades.
• Encasing over a melted-in frit layer can intensify the warm glow while keeping the surface smooth and refined.
