This is a dark aquamarine transparent Effetre glass rod pulled to a thin 2–3 mm diameter. Thin rod in this size range is commonly used like stringer for fine linework, surface decoration, and controlled color placement in soft glass lampworking, especially when you want the color of a rod but with the handling and precision of a smaller diameter.

How it is used:

• Use as fine line stringer for scrollwork, outlines, and detail on beads and small soft glass components.
• Apply thin trails over a base bead or small sculptural form, then lightly melt in to preserve crisp line quality.
• Lay down multiple parallel lines for striping, then gently heat and rake or comb for feathered effects.
• Use short sections as small accents, dots, and “ticks” where a full-size rod would apply too much glass too quickly.
