Description:

Moretti Blue Rose is a premium Effetre soft glass color sold in rod form for lampworking and beadmaking. This glass is pulled into straight rods so it can be heated evenly in a torch flame and applied with controlled placement. Blue Rose is commonly chosen when you want a saturated, elegant blue tone for beads, small sculptural work, and decorative surface applications where consistent color and clean handling matter.

How it is used:

  • Warm the rod gradually in the back of the flame to reduce thermal shock, then bring it up to a working glow.
  • Apply the molten glass to a mandrel for beadmaking or to a base form for small sculptural elements.
  • Use it for surface decoration by laying down lines, wraps, or dots, then melt in smooth for a clean finish.
