Moretti Brown Light is a special Effetre soft glass color pulled into rod form for lampworking. This warm, light brown is a practical choice for natural palettes, animal tones, wood and earth accents, and any design where you want a softer brown that does not overpower surrounding colors. In rod form it heats evenly for beadmaking and small sculptural work, and it can be pulled into stringer for controlled detail such as outlines, dots, and fine line decoration.

How it is used:

Warm the rod gradually at the edge of the flame to reduce thermal shock
Use as a base color for beads and small forms when you want a warm, natural brown
Pull into stringer for fine detail such as linework, dot patterns, and trim
Layer with other compatible soft glass colors to build depth, then shape and finish as normal
