Moretti Green Pea Pastel stringer is a 104 COE soft glass stringer with a diameter of 2-3mm, made from opaque pea green Effetre Moretti glass. This stringer is used in lampworking for fine linework, surface decoration, and controlled color placement. The narrow diameter allows for precise application of color in thin lines, dots, and detailed patterns without the bulk of larger rods. It is ideal when you want to add delicate green accents, create decorative trails, or build up color in a controlled manner.
How it is used:
- Heat the stringer to a workable temperature and pull thin lines across the surface of a hot gather for fine linework and surface decoration.
- Use the stringer to create dots, dashes, and detailed patterns by touching the tip to the hot glass and pulling away.
- Layer multiple passes of stringer to build up opaque color coverage in specific areas without affecting the entire bead.
- Melt the stringer fully into the surface for a smooth finish, or leave it slightly raised for texture and dimension.
