Description:

This nickel plated diamond wheel is manufactured using SW Diamond Products proprietary diamond plating process to produce a long-lasting, high quality abrasive cutting and grinding surface. A 360 grit wheel is used for fine pre-polish work, creating smooth surfaces and refined edges before final polishing steps. This grit removes scratches from coarser grits and prepares glass for the highest level of finish.

Grit size is 360 and wheel diameter is 4".

How it is used:

  • Mount the wheel on the appropriate lapidary grinder or arbor and verify it runs true before bringing glass to the surface.
  • Use with water to cool the glass and wheel, reduce chipping, and carry away grinding swarf.
  • Apply light, steady pressure and keep the glass moving to avoid flat spots, heat buildup, and edge bruising.
  • Use this grit after medium grits to remove scratches and prepare surfaces for final polish.
