Nugget and Bead Vise is a small holding vise designed to grip glass pieces securely during coldworking and finishing. It is built with a clamping mechanism that holds work firmly so you can grind, shape, and refine without chasing the piece around the bench. This style of vise is used when working small items like beads, nuggets, cabochons, and other hand-sized glass components where finger-holding is unsafe, inconsistent, or too close to the wheel. It holds up to 3/4 inch in diameter.
How it is used:
