Description:

This is a medium-grade frit made from opaque dark ivory Effetre Moretti glass that is compatible with 104 COE soft glass. The frit is produced by crushing and screening compatible glass into consistent granules so it can be applied as a surface decoration or worked into the body of a bead. Opaque dark ivory is used when you want a warm, earthy base tone, strong contrast against transparents, or a classic ivory look that can develop additional character in the flame, especially in designs that incorporate silver-bearing glass. This frit is packaged in a 2 oz container and is commonly used for rolling, spot placement, and controlled encasement work.

How it is used:

• Preheat the frit and your bead surface, then roll the hot bead in frit for even, solid color coverage.
• Use tweezers, a pick, or a frit tray to place frit precisely for dots, bands, and pattern work.
• Melt the frit in smoothly, then encase with clear 104 COE glass when you want crisp edges and reduced smearing.
• Use as a reactive design element with silver-bearing glasses when you want additional surface effects.
