Description:

This is an opaque dark turquoise pastel glass frit made from Effetre Moretti 104 COE glass that has been crushed and screened to a medium particle size for consistent application in the flame. It is used in lampworking when you want fast, even color coverage, controlled surface texture, or layered color effects without pulling full stringer or rod. Opaque dark turquoise is especially useful for bold base coats, graphic accents, and encased color work where you want the turquoise to stay saturated. This color reacts on ivory.

How it is used:

• Roll a warm bead or gather through frit to apply an even surface layer, then melt in smoothly for solid coverage.
• Sprinkle frit onto a hot surface for spot color placement, mottling, and organic patterning.
• Use as a base layer and encase with clear for depth and to reduce surface distortion during shaping.
• Apply in thin layers and melt in fully to help keep the surface clean and reduce unwanted texture.
• Test on ivory before committing to a production run since this color reacts on ivory.
