Description:
This is an opaque light turquoise pastel Effetre frit made by crushing and sizing 104 COE soft glass into a medium-grade particle. It is used in lampworking when you want to add consistent, repeatable surface color without pulling stringer or applying rod directly, and it is especially useful for building opaque layers that can be left exposed or encased for clean, crisp color. This color is noted for reacting with silver and on ivory, which makes it a strong choice when you want intentional surface reactions and variation.
How it is used:
- Warm the bead or component to a tacky surface heat and roll or dab into frit to apply an even layer of color.
