Moretti Transparent Orange frit is a striking transparent soft glass frit made by crushing and sizing compatible Effetre glass into a medium-grade particle. This color is designed to give a vivid orange presence that can be encased, helping you build bright transparent color without the smeared look that can happen when rolling beads in some frit applications. It is used in lampworking when you want strong orange accents, layered transparent depth, and clean color placement for beads and small sculptural work.

How it is used:

• Roll a warm bead through frit in a frit tray, then melt in evenly to create a smooth transparent orange layer.
• Use light applications for bright highlights, or heavier coverage for a more saturated orange field.
• Apply in bands or spot placements to build transparent patterning, then melt flush before final shaping.
• Encasing over a fully melted-in frit layer adds depth and helps keep the orange looking clean and luminous.
