Origin Bright White Frit (F) is a fine-grade crushed glass frit made for smooth, even white coverage with minimal texture. Because the particles are finer than small frit, it melts in faster and more uniformly, which makes it especially useful for clean surface color, soft transitions, and detailed work where you do not want a heavily speckled or chunky look.
In lampworking, fine white frit is commonly used to brighten bead bases, create high-contrast linework and scroll, and build opaque white layers that can be encased or layered with other colors. It is also a reliable choice for subtle shading and blending when you want white to influence a color mix without leaving a coarse surface pattern.
How it is used:
- Heat the glass until the surface is evenly tacky
