Origin Coral Brown Frit (F) is a colored glass frit made by crushing compatible color glass into small, irregular granules. This frit is used when you want quick, even surface color without having to fully build the color from rod, and it is especially useful for creating organic, variegated effects that read well under clear encasement. Fine frit is commonly chosen for more even coverage, smoother melt-in, and tighter control on small lampworked forms where coarse particles would create unwanted texture or bumps.

How it is used:

• Warm the bead, pendant, or component until the surface is tacky, then roll or sprinkle the frit onto the hot glass.
• Reheat gently to fuse the frit in, using a softer flame to avoid boiling the surface and to keep the application even.
• For cleaner finishes, melt the frit fully smooth before adding clear encasement or shaping details.
• Use light layering, then repeat, to build depth and variation without over-thickening the surface.
