Overview
The heating element is mounted in the side and back of the kiln, providing added safety measures, & aids with fusing & slumping glass. Also available with elements in the top wall, or both for an additional price.
Door Design for Annealing on a Punty Rod
The vertical-drop door is spring-loaded and has a smaller punty rod door to allow glass to anneal safely. A punty rod can be used to insert your Figurine (which can be up to 11" tall), and then will safely extend from the punty door, outside the fire chamber.
